Summer Garden Winding Down

Amazing how some plants just hang on
and save their very best until last. Maybe there's a message in that for all of us.

Love the picture of the flowers and the Orca Pond and the market. I am sick of the lies about Obama.
I hate to see the end of summer and fall and winter arrive. We are having 35 to 45 mile winds here today and rain for tonight. We need the rain so bad. Guess we are getting the remnants of Ike. I have watched the flooding until I am bleary eyed. I feel so sorry for those people in Texas.

I enjoyed the beautiful flowers in this post (and the one from “Mother Nature at Her Finest’ … and appreciated the thoughtful posts & links about the election and the state of our nation … we need such food for thought and one hopes ‘lies, fear-mongering, negativity & diversions’ will end and ‘sanity’ will prevail.
Hugs and blessings,
