First of all, I should probably warn McCain -- there's no lipstick on this pig and he'd better check his past statements before he jumps Obama! or Emma Sue!
My friend, Colleen, sent me this web site along with this picture. Now you have to know that we can’t be all bad when we have a rescue farm for pigs. Pigs Peace sanctuary is in Stanwood, WA. Their website is
http://www.pigspeace.org/. According to my friend and her husband, it is a treasure and is a fun place to visit. The tour is easy to navigate for everyone and the pigs seem very happy and calm. Apparently, according to Colleen, the place is beautiful although she never thought she would say that about a pig farm! They got to feed them carrots and peanuts and take lots of photos – like this one.
The little pink pig is 4 months old, named Emma Sue, and she's just like a puppy. She ran around, trotting here and there, nudging my friend’s ankle, tried to flip her cane around, then got tired and laid down for a nap while Colleen sat near here in a lawn chair. There was a black pig named Priscilla and, like most of the pigs there, she had come from a horrible home and was fearful of humans as a result. Two months later, she's a happier girl and Colleen’s husband, Roland, was the first stranger she had allowed to touch her. It was a special moment for the caretaker and for Colleen and Roland! They’ve been calling Roland the "pig whisperer" ever since.

I can't resist! Where's the lipstick?
Emma Sue's a cutie. She looks like Babe.
How cute! Emma Sue does look like Babe!
That's so funny. We have a horse whisperer, dog whisperer, and now a pig whisperer!
I love it! Couldn't be more appropriate.
