It doesn't get any better than this. And I'm at my own home.
On my own deck! How cool is that?

The beautiful thing about getting older is the view and being able to see both sides of the hill

Beautiful photos and gorgeous skies. Down here, we have also had some beautiful ones this fall
Yes, it doesn't get any better than that. Beauty right outside your window.
Cool! You can come sit on my patio and see different views of the same sky. Your view is lovely.
You're doing great with Adam's camera. Keep up the good work. See, you've added something else new to your life. You're seeing the world much closer because you're looking for something that would make a good picture. You're seeing more detail around you.
How beautiful, Sylvia.
Great shots, I also love your header pic as well. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers

No, it doesn't get any better than this. All silvery and beautiful.
You are right, it doesn't get any better. Very nice photo series.
Greg and I love to look at the sunrises and sunsets. There's something so relaxing about it. Makes the worries disappear...
You're so right: it doesn't get any better than that. ;-)
Happy Sky Watch!
Really! That is super cool to have a view like that from your deck! I'd be out there all the time! What awesome photos!!!

Oh my, you have a wonderful deck view! Those skies are so full of motion they're almost dizzying. great post!
what an amazing view!!
the light in the last shot is stunning
Sylvis, you hsve lovely shots this week, that last on you should frame.
wonderful SWF photos! love your header too! will have to tell my dear hubby that he is sitting on top of the hill and can see both sides :)
Nice pictures and lovely colours.
Dark and light clouds trying to compete with the sun,
Like Mccain and Obama sparring and insisting they are the one,
Pine trees on their toes, trying to see whats been going wrong..
Shivering in the cold breeze, waiting for the November song....
A sharp breeze blows in from the Chicago side, saying "you need to watch her"...
Getting rid of those dark Alaskan clouds isnt going to be easy , I bethcha......
But the sun is strong, November will drive those dark clouds away from the sky,
A smile on Sylvia's face as she enjoys the scene from up there on high...
A cloud here, a ray of the sun there, nature is life's best teacher,
And Sylvia says, Aha! this is something my blog is going to feature!
These pictures are wonderful. How great to be able to see skies like this at your own home. I like the picture at the top of your blog very much also. I love to click on your blog and see it first thing.
Hard to imagine that life could be "normal" under those "abnormal" skies! Glad you recognize your blessings. And thanks for sharing them with us! Very nicely captured. Enjoy! (www.reluctantfarmchik.com)
Nope … it certainly doesn’t. Your view is spectacular indeed. It’s hard for me to capture skies w/o electrical wires and roofs, but I do what I can. I’ve shared ‘pink clouds on blue skies’ (and a bit of haiku) at Sacred Ruminations ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Great photos, Sylvia. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, that IS cool to get these gorgeous shots right from your deck! Good for you! Happy SkyWatching! Greetings from Iowa.
